Mission Sunday, 18 October 2015

Today vast numbers of people still do not know Jesus Christ. For this reason, mission work continues to be most urgent. All the members

of the Church are called to participate in mission work, for the

Church is missionary by her nature: she was born, “to go forth”…………….Pope Francis.

On next Sunday we are reminded to support our missionaries with our prayers and our financial help.

APPLICATIONS FOR FIRST PENANCE & HOLY COMMUNION &

THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Just a reminder to parents of students in 2nd and 6th Class, that all applications for children intending to make these sacraments in our parishes in 2016, was Friday, 9 October 2015.

All applications are to be sent to the parish Office, or either the sacristy or the parish office

in Dunhill.

As we mentioned at the meeting with the parents last week, if we do not receive the forms by then, we will assume that you do not wish your child to receive these sacraments at this time.
