RESPONSES
It’s a year now since we began using the New Translation of the Roman Missal. Generally, we have done really well to adapt to the changes in our music, and responses. Two things to remember are listed below which are still causing some confusion.
Preface Dialogue:
Priest: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Priest: Lift up your hearts.
All: We lift them up to the Lord.
Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.
All: It is right and just.
At the end of the Eucharistic Prayer, the words : “Through Him, and with Him and in Him…” are said only by the priest. This allows all of us to acclaim the ‘Great Amen’ at the end
ROSARY GARDEN
The Rosary Garden will be beside the sacristy from next weekend. It will be blessed on Saturday night next during the 7.30 mass. It is hoped to inspire us to pray the Rosary daily as we enter the year of Faith.
