SHANE O’NEILL
While the joy of Easter fills our hearts, it is also sadly time to say goodbye to our diocesan seminarian, Shane O’Neill, who leaves us today to continue his pastoral year in Cork University Hospital next month. Shane has been with us in the parish since last September, and has gained valuable pastoral experience in our parish, by visiting our schools and homes of the sick, as well as leading us in prayer services throughout the year, and was with us on our parish trip to Rome and Assisi.
As Shane leaves us, we wish him well and will continue to pray for him at this time. All going well, Shane will be ordained a deacon in May next year, and we will look forward to welcoming him back to the parish to visit us at that time.
