DATES FOR YOUR DIARIES:

 

BLESSING OF GRAVES IN NOVEMBER

 

The dates and times for the Blessing of Graves in November are as follows:

 

SUNDAY 3 NOVEMBER St Declan’s Cemetery, Riverstown.

 

Prayers begin at 3pm followed by the blessing of the graves in St Declan’s Cemetery.

 

SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER – Holy Cross and St Patrick’s Cemeteries.

 

Prayers begin at 3pm in Holy Cross Church followed by the Blessing of Graves in Holy Cross then St Patrick’s Cemeteries.

 

SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER Carbally Cemeteries.

 

Prayers begin at 3pm in Our Lady’s, Carbally followed by blessing of graves in Church Cemetery, then onto the New Cemetery.

 

MASS FOR THOSE WHO DIED IN THE LAST YEAR AND ALL THE DEAD

Mass led by Fr Michael Toomey and the Bereavement Support team for those who died in the last year, and all the dead, will be on Tuesday 5 November at 7.30pm.

There will be an opportunity to light candles for all our deceased loved one and leave them on the Cross at the Mass.

 

Everyone is most welcome.

 

NOVENA FOR THE HOLY SOULS

Our Novena for the Holy Souls begins with the 10.30am Mass on Sunday 10 November, and on Sunday 17 November and at the 10am Masses Monday 11 – 16 November and Monday 18 November. Envelopes will be available in the porches next weekend, and can returned to the sacristy or parish office.

 

As per last year, all names given will be placed in a specially commissioned Remembrance Garden (where the Rosary Garden currently is) where we can remember all our beloved dead in the month of November.
