Trinity Sunday – A mystery to me

‘It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.’ This expression, originally used in 1939 by Winston Churchill, is typically used to describe something that is immensely puzzling or too complex to understand. The word ‘mystery’ is often used in everyday speech. When we can’t wrap our heads around something, we shrug and say: ‘It’s a mystery to me,’ or: ‘It’s another of life’s great mysteries.’

Feast of Corpus Christi  June 22/23 2019

The Corpus Christi procession will take place after the 7.30 Mass on Saturday evening. The procession will leave Holy Cross Church and proceed down Summerhill turning right into the car park and concluding with Benediction in the Canon’s field.

We hope that there is a good turnout of parishioners and that a prominent place will be reserved for the children who received their First Holy Communion during the past weeks.
