Farewell to Deacon Brendan

We bid a fond farewell to our permanent deacon, Rev. Brendan Gallagher, who has taken up a new appointment in the parishes of Newtown/Kill/Kilmacthomas and Portlaw/Ballyduff.

Brendan was with us for the past two years since his ordination, and we thank him for his dedication to the parishioners of Tramore, Carbally, Dunhill and Fenor during his time among us. His ministry included assisting at the altar and proclaiming the gospel, preaching, celebrating baptisms, visiting the sick, conducting funeral prayers, along with benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Brendan also provided valuable assistance with the training of our altar servers in Fenor and Dunhill.

We pray for him, and wish him every blessing as he settles into his new appointment.
