Blessing of the Homes

Dear friends,

Just a note to say ‘Thank You’ to the tremendous show of support for the Blessing of Homes in our parish that is still underway. We were amazed with the positive response, and how this gesture means so much to so many people. Thank you to those who erected altars and shrines at your front gates, and to all who joined in with the prayers and the blessing.

It has been wonderful to see people both young and old (and even their pets!) reverently receiving a blessing from Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We will continue with the blessing of homes until Tuesday 2nd June. Please keep an eye on this website for up to date information on our timetable, when we will be in your locality. Please pass on word to your neighbours or anyone you know who lives in your area.

Regards and blessings,

Mgr O’Mahony and the parish clergy
