Return of Public Masses – Volunteers Needed!

Dear friends,

We are busy with preparations to return to public Masses on Monday 29th June. From this date forward we intend to resume our daily and weekly Mass schedule, with the exception of the 7.30am morning weekday Mass. All other Mass times will be as before: 10am Monday – Saturday, and 7.30pm vigil Saturday evening, and 8.30am, 10.30am and 12pm Masses on Sunday.

In order to do this, however, we are required to have volunteers at each door to show people to their seats. There will unfortunately be a limited number of available seats, and these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We need at least two volunteers to staff each of our three doors for the four weekend Masses (Sat. evening/Sun. morning). Volunteers will also assist people in coming forward to receive Holy Communion, as there will be protocols in place.

If you are under the age of seventy years (i.e. not ‘cocooning’) or if you know someone who is who might like to volunteer at one of our Masses at weekends, we would be very grateful if you could provide us with names and contact information. You can either contact any of the parish clergy or Mary Murray in the parish office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 1pm. Many thanks to those who have volunteered already!

Regards and blessings,

Mgr. O’Mahony
